Tryouts for our competitive teams are in May. Our competitive season starts mid-May. See our Informational Handbook for more details. We do accept new members after tryouts based on an individual tryout and dependent on availability of team openings.
As you are beginning to plan your next year cheer season and your respective squad's needs and goals, Legacy Image would love to work with you. As we have worked with many coaches in the area we have gotten familiar with the skills and techniques needed for teams to have outstanding cheer routines for the season as well as additions needed to make those teams have a competitive edge. Tumbling Class Schedule
Level 1: Tues 6-7 and Th 5:45-6:45
Level 2: Tues 6-7, Wed 5:30-6:30
Level 3: Th 6:45-7:45
Level 3/4: Wed 5:30-6:30
Tumbling Class Descriptions
Level 1: This class is designed to give the athlete a strong tumbling foundation. Participants will successfully master the cartwheel, round off, handstand, back bend, front walkover and back walkover. The athlete will learn techniques that will help their bodies develop skills to be a strong tumbler.
Level 2: Students will successfully master a standing back handspring, round-off back handspring, and a front handspring. Each athlete will gain strength and power in their tumbling. Students will also begin connecting front tumbling to their round-off back handspring.
Level 3: Students will successfully master the round-off back handspring series, series of standing back handsprings, round-off back handspring tuck, and introduced to the standing tuck.
Level 4: This class is for more advanced cheerleaders with a solid tumbling background. The athlete will successfully master the round off backhandspring layout, a series of standing back handsprings layout, jumps to standing back tuck, and front tumbling passes. The athlete will begin to content front tumbling to round - off backhandspring layout. The athlete will begin advanced combination passes
Level 5: The athlete will successfully master the round off backhandspring full, a series of standing back handsprings layout/full, jumps to standing back tuck, front tumbling passes and bounding skills. The athlete will begin advanced combination passes.
